Welcome to II Much Fabrication.  This site documents the fabrication and buildup of my 1967 Chevy II -- called II Much.  I completed the car in March 2007, and have been driving it all over Central Florida. II Much was featured on the cover of Popular Hot Rodding's October 2007 Issue. See below for features and design elements, and check out the fabrication links on the left for lots of buildup photos.

I was also recently interviewed by Kevin Oeste of V8TV at SEMA 2007.

The car is now for sale. I'm looking forward to building another car next year. Lower price: I'm asking $115K. Please contact me via email if interested.

  • Performance: 11 second quarter mile, 1G+ on skidpad.

  • Styling: classic 67 Nova with modified front and rear bumpers, custom spoilers, carbon fiber exterior mirrors, II Much badges, stainless steel mesh grill, and tweaked rear lights.  Paint and bodywork was done by Road Killer Kustoms.

  • Ergonomics: features comfortable seating for 4, but will also be capable of full bore 140 mph runs down the backstretch on track days.  For safety, it will have retractable 4 pt harnesses for street and track use.  The steering column is from ididit, inc.  270 degree electric Auto Meter Ultra Lites keep the vitals in plain view. The interior panels and stitching was done by 1Off Rides.

  • Technical information:
    • Art Morrison ProFile bumper to bumper frame

    • Custom race-style SLA front suspension.  Features CNC machined one-off aluminum uprights, CNC bent and milled crossmember, hand fabricated control arms, upper and lower shock mounts, and NASCAR anti-sway bar.  A Woodward power steering rack and HAL QA1 coilovers complete the assembly.   Check out the Popular Hot Rodding article, which ran in the May 2005 issue.

    • Custom 3 link rear suspension  Features adjustable tubular linkage arms and panhard bar, anti-sway bar, and HAL QA1 coilovers.  Look for the article about the new 3 link design and fabrication.  It ran in the October 2005 issue of PHR.

    • Wegner Automotive Research 427 ci 620 hp Gen IV (LSx small block) engine.  The sleeved LS2 block comes from Rapid Motorsports and uses the Wegner-designed GMPP carb'ed intake manifold and Holley's 4150 style billet throttle body.  The EFI and spark control are managed by FAST's new XFI ECU and eDIST.  Other parts include a Lunati rotating assembly (4" stoker crank, Pro Billet rods, forged pistons, plus rings and bearings), ARP bolts and studs, and Stainless Works headers and exhaust.  Wegner is supplying their own custom ported LS6 heads.  Cal Hartline did the engine tuning at Mike Norris' Next Level Performance.   Check out the PHR spread in the October 2006 issue.

    • TTC TKO-600 5 speed, and Quarter Master clutch, Brian Schein custom fabricated bellhousing adapter, and Mark Williams driveshaft.

    • Moser Engineering Ford 9 inch Detroit Locker 3rd member with aluminum housing, 35 spline axles, and 3.25 gear ratio.

    • Kinesis Motorsport wheels and Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires are 18 x 9 265/35/18 up front, 18x11 315/30/18 in back.

    • Wilwood brakes: SuperLite6 calipers in front, DynaLite4 in back.  14 x 1.25 and 12 x 0.81 SRP rotors.

    • Pedals are married to a Wilwood remote mount master cylinder setup: hydraulic clutch and dual master cylinders with balance bar for brakes.
